Molly completed her master's in public health at Boston University, where she studied in the Department of Community Health Science and focused on health policy and advocacy. She has conducted research on the impact of firearm-related laws on health outcomes for the past two years, including compiling a database of firearm laws in all 50 states over the years 1991-2017. Molly has worked at the Tennessee State Legislature, on several political campaigns, as a political researcher, and in a domestic violence assessment center. She has also conducted research on state education policies regarding bullying and studied reproductive and sexual health. Molly's research has been published in the American Journal of Public Health.
