With a PhD in sport coaches' learning and education and an MSc in the psychology of sport and exercise from Loughborough University, Anna has worked as a lecturer in sports coaching and physical education since 2015. Involved in a number of evaluation projects for The FA, UK Sport and Sportscoach UK, Anna was also performance pathway coordinator for Archery GB.
Anna is a coach and athlete in rugby union, playing in the English Women's Premiership for Saracens, and is also a member of the Scotland Women's international squad.
