Swee Hoon Chuah is a Senior Lecturer in Economics and the current Chair of the Behavioural Business Lab (BBL) at RMIT in Melbourne. Swee Hoon holds a PhD in behavioural and experimental economics from the University of Nottingham in the UK, where she trained at the Centre for Decision Research and Experimental Economics (CeDEx). Prior to joining RMIT, she was a Lecturer in Economics at Nottingham University Business School. Her particular research interest is in cross-cultural experimental economics where she investigates the impact of factors such as values, race and religion on economic behaviour. She also uses experiments to study behaviour in online environments. Her work has attracted significant amounts of funding from governmental agencies and research councils in the UK and the US, and has been published in journals such as European Economic Review, Experimental Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Economic Psychology and Economics Letters.
