Alex Reilly is the Deputy Dean of the Adelaide Law School and Director of the Public Law and Policy Research Unit at the University of Adelaide. He has held academic positions in the law schools at Adelaide, Macquarie and Murdoch Universities. He teaches and researches in migration law and policy, constitutional law, legal theory, and Indigenous legal issues.
Alex is a member of the Work and Employment Regulation research specialisation group in the law school, and is an associate of the Hugo Centre, which does Australian population and migration research. Alex is also a member of the board of the Refugee Advocacy Service of South Australia, a voluntary service providing free legal and migration advice to asylum seekers.
