I am a postdoctoral associate at the University of Minnesota and a Registered Dietitian. My research explores the way food affects the bacteria that live in the human gut. Before working in the microbiome space I completed a PhD in Nutrition with a focus on body composition and malnutrition. My training in nutrition and dietetics shapes the choices I make when I plan and conduct research.
