Brett Govendir has a PhD in accounting from UTS and is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of CPA Australia, a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. He has gained extensive experience providing public practice services for over 25 years prior to pursuing an academic career.
Brett's current research interests evaluate the implications of accounting standards, corporate governance and taxation on capital markets. Brett's research has appeared in leading Australian and international conferences and publications.
