Senior lecturer in Accounting and Finance, Brunel University London
From the University of Calcutta in India, I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate degree in Accounting and Finance. Besides that, I successfully completed the Bachelor in Education. I was awarded PhD in Commerce from Calcutta University, India. In 2012 I got my second PhD in Money and Finance from University of Rome TorVergata, Italy. In 2013 I completed the Graduate Certificate Training from University of Surrey. I joined the Brunel University in September 2015 as a senior lecturer in Accounting. Previously I taught at University of Surrey from 2011 as a Lecturer in Accounting and Corporate Governance. In India I taught at undergraduate and postgraduate level at different colleges under Calcutta University, WBUT, ICFAI, Manipal University. For the year 2010, I have been at RPI, New York as a visiting research scholar. I was also visiting scholar at Radboud University, Netherlands.
I do quantitative research in finance and accounting. My current research is focused on public and private sector. I am also familiar with qualitiative research which I am applying in my recent research projects to develop unique dataset. I follow interdisciplinary approach in addressing current and emerging issues in finance and accounting.
