LONDON, April 24, 2017 -- C.A.T.S.: Crash Arena Turbo Stars, a new mobile multiplayer game from Cut the Rope and King of Thieves creators, was downloaded more than 8 mln times during the first weekend. It became a #1 free app in the US App Store and in 19 other countries, outrunning Facebook, Snapchat and YouTube. It also got the 1st place in “Games” category in 53 countries on iOS and landed in top 5 popular games on Google Play in 25 countries.
In C.A.T.S., players build and customize battle cars and go head-to-head against each other to become the Crash Arena champion, while taking a role of a mean street kitten.

“We want to thank players and journalists for such a warm welcome of the game. 8 mln downloads on the first weekend is an extraordinary result for the original IP. To our knowledge, no other none-franchise game has ever done this well,” Zeptolab CEO Misha Lyalin commented on the launch.
Besides the game itself, the company also released a C.A.T.S. sticker pack, which became an instant hit in the iMessage store, occupying the 1st place in 112 countries.
In four days following the release, C.A.T.S. players destroyed more than 500 mln battle cars — more than the global car industry produced in 5 years. Around 15 mln bets were already made in the game, resulting in players losing 10 million spare parts. And, most importantly — no cat was harmed in battles!
