Jacques joins Workboard with a rare combination of executive leadership experience in customer success, operations and product management, following a six-year foundation of client-facing strategy work at Bain & Co. This depth and breadth is particularly relevant to customers using Workboard’s solution to drive their customer experience, product advantage and operational excellence strategies and to Workboard’s own efforts to provide a world-class customer experience.
“Workboard’s solution ingeniously and elegantly combines strategy with execution to address the universal challenges of effectively communicating strategy, aligning execution and driving accountability. This has long been a struggle for organizations and it’s becoming more difficult and important as the pace of change across markets accelerates,” said Jacques. “I am thrilled to help Workboard and its customers succeed.”
Prior to joining Workboard, Jacques was vice president of global customer success and services at Wrike, a SaaS work management provider. She was previously chief operating officer at Kidaptive, where she drove cross-organization alignment and operational excellence. Prior to that, Jacques was vice president of product management and operations at performance marketing provider Quinstreet, where she grew revenues four-fold and increased sales productivity ten-fold. Jacques began her career at Bain, where she advanced from associate to case-team leader and led operations projects for clients across multiple industries. Jacques holds a B.S. in business administration from Georgetown University and an MBA with concentrations in strategy, marketing and entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago.
“Workboard helps customers activate customer experience, product advantage, operational excellence and growth strategies, so we are delighted Genia will deepen expertise in these areas in our customer-success organization,” said Deidre Paknad, CEO and co-founder of Workboard Inc. “Her analytical rigor and skillful engagement style make her a phenomenal leader and a great addition to Workboard’s executive team.”
Jacques’ appointment follows a $9.3 million Series A funding led by new investors Floodgate and Microsoft Ventures, which enables Workboard to expand sales, marketing and development of its Active Strategy Management SaaS solution.
