HOUSTON, Sept. 07, 2016 -- Orion Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:ORN) (the "Company") a leading specialty construction company, today announced its Heavy Civil Marine Construction segment, Orion Marine Group, partnering with Watts Constructors, was recently awarded a $25.6 million contract by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command of Silverdale, Washington. The project entails constructing a pile-supported approach trestle and pier for the P-993 Transit Protection System Forward Operating Location near the Ediz Hook of Port Angeles, Washington. Watts Constructors is the managing partner of the joint venture and Orion Marine Group’s portion of award includes approximately $12.5 million. Project construction will begin in October 2016 with a duration of approximately 16 months.
