WILMINGTON, Mass., April 24, 2017 -- The No. 5 UniFirst Chevrolet SS returns to the NASCAR track for the Talladega 500 on Sunday, May 7, at 2 p.m. EDT at the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama. UniFirst and Hendrick Motorsports announced an eight-year agreement last year making the uniform, workwear, and facility services company a primary sponsor of select NASCAR races and a full-season associate sponsor for the No. 5 team each season through the year 2023. The upcoming races for the UniFirst Chevrolet will take place at Talladega, Ala., on May 7 and the Daytona 400 in Daytona Beach, Fla., on July 1, at 7:30 p.m. EDT. Both will air internationally on network television with the Talladega race on FOX and Daytona on NBC.

Since joining Hendrick Motorsports in 2012, Kasey Kahne, 37, has earned 17 career NASCAR Cup Series wins and five playoff berths. The Enumclaw, Wash., native’s impressive career totals more than 85 top-five finishes, 165 top-ten finishes, and 25 pole positions.
