Fans who have been waiting for the arrival of “The Seven Deadly Sins” season 4 release date are in for one big disappointment – it won’t be arriving anytime soon. To make the long wait more bearable, here’s what’s are the possible stories that will be explored in the upcoming season.

“The Seven Deadly Sins” season 4 release date

Previously, the fourth season of the hit anime series “The Seven Deadly Sins” was scheduled to air in October on TV Tokyo. However, a recent announcement reveals that the anime won’t be coming out as scheduled.

“The Seven Deadly Sins” season 4 will be delayed due to the effects of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, according to Crunchyroll. The announcement was made via the show’s official account but it did not mention when the series will eventually be coming out.

‘Nanatsu no Taizai’ season 4 plot

The upcoming season will be titled “The Seven Deadly Sins: Anger's Judgment.” The anime’s production team has not revealed much about its plot but it’s expected to continue from where the third season left off.

Previously, Estarossa became mentally unstable after absorbing Monspeet’s Commandment. He started to act like a child and playfully attacked the two Archangels, Sariel and Tarmiel.

A great battle was fought between the Archangels and the demon. However, Estarossa proved to be too strong after absorbing the Commandment that he was able to defeat Sarial and Tarmiel.

Estarossa believed that he is Meliodas and wanted to take Elizabeth with him. He attacked anyone who tried to bar his way so Elizabeth tried to appease him by agreeing to go with him. The chapter ended with the two Archangels, who reverted back to their original forms, in pursuit of the demon along with members of the Seven Deadly Sins. Fans can expect a confrontation between the deranged Estarossa and the combined team of Archangels, Seven Deadly Sins, and Deriere in the upcoming season.

In addition, Ban’s journey to purgatory as he tries to find Meliodas’ emotions will likely be featured in “Nanatsu no Taizai” season 4. It won’t be an easy task for Ban as the place is filled with unspeakable horrors that no ordinary human could endure.
