MIDVALE, Utah, March 23, 2016 -- Sportsman’s Warehouse (Nasdaq:SPWH) is expanding its operations to include new retail locations in Avondale, Arizona, and Fairfield, California. The Avondale store will be the seventh store in Arizona and located in Gateway Village. In Fairfield, California, the new store will be located at Gateway Courtyard and will be the seventh location in California. Combined with the locations previously announced these stores bring the total of announced locations for 2016 to eleven new locations as the Company continues to execute its growth strategy. By the end of 2016 Sportsman’s Warehouse will operate 75 retail store locations in 20 states.
As with all Sportsman’s Warehouse locations, these new stores will feature an extensive selection of hunting, fishing and camping equipment geared toward each local market, as well as a wide range of apparel and footwear that will support the local user base. These stores will also feature instruction, seminars and special events related to outdoor activities.
