WILLIAMSBURG, Va., May 01, 2018 -- Sotherly Hotels Inc. (NASDAQ:SOHO) (the “Company”) today announced that its Board of Directors has authorized, and the Company has declared, a quarterly cash dividend of $0.12 per common share of beneficial interest. The quarterly dividend will be paid on July 11, 2018 to shareholders of record as of June 15, 2018. The common dividend represents an annualized yield of approximately 7.4 percent based on the closing price of the Company’s common shares on April 30, 2018.
The Board of Directors also authorized, and the Company has declared, a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.50 per share of beneficial interest of the Company’s 8.0% Series B Cumulative Redeemable Perpetual Preferred Stock. The Series B preferred dividend will be paid on July 16, 2018 to shareholders of record as of June 29, 2018.
The Board of Directors also authorized, and the Company has declared, a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.4921875 per share of beneficial interest of the Company’s 7.875% Series C Cumulative Redeemable Perpetual Preferred Stock. The Series C preferred dividend will be paid on July 16, 2018 to shareholders of record as of June 29, 2018.
