RENO, NV, April 26, 2018 -- On the Move Systems (OTC PINK: OMVS) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Robotic Assistance Devices (RAD - www.roboticassistancedevices.com), has deployed its latest guarding solution, the Security Control and Observation Tower (SCOT™), to an educational campus to improve school safety and augment existing guarding services.
SCOT™, a standalone, remote, portable, self-sufficient intelligence observation tower designed to instantly expand an organization’s security reach, was implemented at the request of the school that desires cost-effective and high-tech solutions to ensure the protection of its students.
The SCOT™ unit increased guarding capabilities, allowing the school's security team to monitor students at night after traditional school hours were over while there were activities such as sporting events on campus. During this time, SCOT™'s help button was activated by a student whose phone had died and needed to get a hold of his parents. Through the help button, the student was connected to an operator who was able to call the parents and notify them that the child was waiting.
“Educational campuses make the perfect market vertical for SCOT™ as we've seen in this latest deployment,” said Steve Reinharz, President and CEO, RAD. “SCOT™'s ability to provide guarding services at a time when they would otherwise be cost-prohibitive or ineffective is a major upside for any school looking to increase its situational awareness of the campus and help keep its students safe.”
SCOT™ adds significant benefits to educational campuses by harnessing artificial intelligence that powers human detection analytics to expand a school's security reach. Implementing SCOT™ into a security team is considerably more affordable than any human or automated solution on the market.
