As far as everyone knows, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are spending some time away from the spotlight and on break from their royal duties. However, with the reports circulating about the state of their marriage, could divorce be on the horizon between the two of them?
The royal couple welcomed their first son, Archie earlier in 2019, so it does strongly suggest that the couple are happier more than ever. However, a report reveals that Harry and Meghan may not be as happy as they seem to be despite becoming new parents. Some people are speculating the odds of the divorce between the two royals. They speculated that five years into their marriage with two kids could be when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decide to part ways.
It bears noting that this is not the first time the general public, much less the Royal Family, have seen two of their members get divorced. Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s divorce being the most popular one in recent years, when the couple divorced due to Charles’ infidelity towards the now-Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker-Bowles. The Queen may not take kindly to witnessing another divorce happen as well, which would make it hard for Harry and Meghan. On the bright side of things, couples who have constantly been under scrutiny have also managed to power through despite all the rumors regarding their relationship.
However, it is also easy to see how Harry and Meghan’s marriage would work, according to Cheat Sheet. The first reason being how their period of courtship or dating was rather short compared to Will and Kate. Less than two years after meeting through a blind date, the two of them got married.
The second reason would be a matter of parentals. Both Harry and Meghan’s parents are divorced, and there is a statistic that reveals that it is likely that the two of them would also divorce. But this reason might motivate Harry and Meghan to work on their marriage when times get tough as they know how it feels to be in a broken home.
Whether or not the Duke and Duchess of Sussex get divorced is unclear, but for now, people can be satisfied knowing that the couple are happily married and in love.
