Porsche Design has dropped off its latest footwear collaboration with PUMA, dubbed the 3D MTRX Sneaker, which is equipped with a tech-forward design and centers on a 3D-printed structure.
The new shoe was designed with several fashion-conscious style elements while keeping performance, durability, and comfort in mind.
The silhouette includes a lattice construction in the midsole, inspired by Porsche Design’s signature iconography.
The trainer’s innovative “Superior Energy Return” recovery system reserves 83% of a runner’s energy with horizontal forward movements.
The design’s upper is composed of premium full-grain leather, while an evoKNIT textile lining provides a snug, sock-like fit. The grid structure on the trainers features myriad air-filled cubes, which work in tandem with the grid strut’s flexible composition to maximize comfort. The sneaker is available in monochromatic black and white finishes, in stores and on the brand’s website for $430.
