DENVER, Oct. 30, 2017 -- Pax8, the leading value-added cloud distributor, today announced it was awarded Distributor of the Year two years in a row by The ASCII Group at the 2017 ASCII Cup, a membership-based community of independent managed service providers (MSPs), value-added resellers (VARs), and solution providers, at the 2017 IT SMB Success Summit in Washington, D.C. This year at the regional IT Success Summits throughout the country, The ASCII Group community awarded Pax8 the following awards: Best Distributor, Best in Show, Best Incentives, Best Involvement, and Best Keynote. The awards earned Pax8 second place overall at The 2017 ASCII Cup.
“It is an honor to be selected as the distributor of choice for The ASCII Group,” said Ryan Walsh, chief channel officer at Pax8. “Pax8 is a born in the cloud distributor, custom-built for MSPs. This recognition is confirmation that we are successfully helping MSPs effectively capitalize on the more than $1 trillion opportunity with cloud services. We thank the Wing Twins, Don and Jennifer, for their dedication to this community and our entire team of Cloud Solutions Advisors for their commitment to our partners.”
The ASCII 2017 IT SMB Success Summits provide an opportunity for attendees to hear industry presentations, receive key business training, learn more about vendor solutions, and network with peers.
ASCII Success Summit attendees vote for the vendors in 10 different categories, including Best Distributor. The winners at each Summit are selected based on the votes by the solution providers in attendance. At the end of the year, the winner of the ASCII Cup is determined by tabulating the results of all nine events.
“On behalf of The ASCII Group community, we would like to congratulate Pax8 as Distributor of the Year at the 2017 ASCII Cup,” said Jerry Koutavas, president at The ASCII Group. “We recognize Pax8 for their commitment to delivering value and significance to the channel.”
