BOSTON, Oct. 18, 2016 -- PRSA Boston has announced that its November 9th C-Suite Conversation, Reception + Annual Meeting featuring keynote GE’s Chief Communications Officer Deirdre Latour will be held at The NonProfit Center of Boston, adjacent to the Financial District and one block from South Station. This will be Ms. Latour’s first formal event at which to answer the question: What Does GE’s Arrival Mean for Us?
The NonProfit Center, at 89 South Street, houses 44 nonprofit organizations in addition to professionally-managed function space and is a fitting backdrop to learn more about GE’s philosophy around community engagement and philanthropy.
Ms. Latour will update GE’s story now that its worldwide headquarters move to Boston is well underway, evidenced by construction in the Seaport District and regional hiring. While the centerpiece of her remarks is expected to be the use of ‘adaptive communications’ by innovation business sectors, she will speak to how GE intends to localize its philanthropic footprint and provide insights about its talent recruitment.
