NFT: Melania Trump unveils third NFT collection that commemorates Donald Trump’s presidency

Melania Trump announced that a new batch of NFT is coming, and this time it will feature the former President of the United States, Donald Trump. The former FLOTUS said that the non-fungible tokens are set to be released on President's Day, which is on Feb. 21.

Melania Trump revealed the "POTUS TRUMP NFT Collection" through her social media. These new digital tokens feature moments that commemorate her husband's presidency. Some of the moments that were mentioned include the Christmas events at the White House and Trumps' visit to Mount Rushmore.

As per CBS News, bidders for the POTUS TRUMP NFT Collection auction will not know what they are exactly buying until they have already purchased it. This collection is offering 10,000 NFTs that are priced at $50 each. And just like the first two NFT auctions of Melania Trump, the bidding will also be in Solana or SOL protocol.

"Collectors will enjoy an element of surprise as the artwork of each collection is revealed only after purchase," part of the auction announcement reads. "Of course, collectors can make multiple purchases to own the entire POTUS TRUMP collection."

It was further revealed that the former FLOTUS participated in the creation of POTUS TRUMP NFTs by providing creative direction for the collection. Based on the description posted at the USAmemorabilia where the digital assets are being sold, the collection consists of five unique designs that spotlight some iconic moments when Donald Trump was still President. These limited-edition NFTs are tiered into platinum and gold levels.

At any rate, this is Melania's third NFT release, where two were launched this year, and the first was in December 2021. Her first launch was successful and featured the digital watercolor painting of her eyes which was aptly titled "Melania's Vision." Her second batch, called the "Head of State," was reportedly a failure since the target minimum bid was not reached.

"I am proud to expand upon my NFT platform and am honored to be able to recognize important moments in our Nation's history," Melania said in a press release for her new auction. "I look forward to collaborating with others to offer truly special, authentic parts of the US history."
