With the heroes’ assault on the Paranormal Liberation Front in full swing, fans can expect more action to continue in “My Hero Academia” chapter 266.
One of the most highly anticipated fights in “Boku no Hero Academia” is the battle between Dabi and Hawks. In the previous chapter, which can be read online on MangaPlus, Dabi took Hawks by surprise. While the Pro Hero was talking to Twice, Dabi launched a surprise attack.
As a result, Dabi was able to pin Hawks to the ground. The recent “My Hero Academia” manga chapter ended with the villain about to launch another attack at the hero beneath him. “Looks like sentiment tripped you up, after all, Hero,” Dabi said.
Many predictions state that, despite Hawks’ apparent disadvantage last chapter, the hero might still be able to turn things around. After all, he is the No.2 Pro Hero and would certainly have a trick or two that will help him in this kind of situation.
But Hawks will be up against Dabi, one of the most powerful villains in the series. With the addition of Twice, it’s anyone’s guess who will be the victor in the upcoming clash between the No. 2 Pro Hero and the two powerful villains.
However, there are a few “My Hero Academia” chapter 266 predictions that differ from the Hawks versus Twice and Dabi scenario pictured by many. In this version, Twice might be hesitant in fighting against Hawks because the Pro Hero actually saved him from Dabi’s flames.
Some eagle-eyed fans noted that Dabi was indiscriminate when he attacked Hawks in the previous chapter. If Hawks did not pull Twice out of the flames with him, he might have been roasted by Dabi’s attack.
“Saw that post online about how Hawks pulled twice out of the fire with him, now he's going to be extra conflicted about being saved by his enemy and roasted by his friend,” Reddit user jhoudiey posted on the site.
Fellow Redditors reviewed the manga’s panel and had to agree with jhoudiey’s version. “That's an interesting observation, I read the last panels while zoomed out so I didn't realize before, but it does look like that's what happened,” Sentient_Trolley wrote. “Maybe Twice thinks "A life for a life" and helps Hawks out of there.”
Some even believe that it might cause Twice to switch sides. “Damn if Hawks gets fried right here and kicks the bucket, I wonder if this will weigh on Twice,” Redditor Ribtickler98 said. “I guess he would realize Hawks really did care for him and was his friend. Maybe down the road he will feel conflicted about who his allegiance belongs to?”
It’s anyone’s guess how Dabi’s indiscriminate attack will affect Twice. “My Hero Academia” chapter 266 will officially release on MangaPlus on March 29.
