TORONTO and NEW YORK, March 03, 2017 -- Micromem Technologies Inc. (“Micromem”) (“the Company”) (CSE:MRM) (OTCQX:MMTIF) through its wholly owned subsidiary Micromem Applied Sensor Technologies Inc. (MAST), announces it has received the 5th of 6 patents filed for the oil pan plug. Receipt of the 6th patent is expected by mid-June. This will complete the patents filed and give the Company control of the intellectual property it required for this product.
In addition, Micromem has received the 1st of 3 patents filed for its Power Line monitoring device. This will allow the Company to continue work toward its target of deploying this product. The Company expects it will receive the next 2 patents to complete its filings and requirements to protect that intellectual property.
