McDonald’s India unveiled its new campaign for the arrival of two menu favorites which are the Butter Chicken and Butter Paneer Grilled Burgers. The grilled burger options are arriving in North and East India, as stated in the company’s new ads.
As mentioned on Financial Express, McDonald’s India’s new commercial shows customers excitedly trying out their new Butter Chicken Burger and Butter Paneer Grilled Burger. After having a bite, they have exclaimed “burrraaaahh” in harmony; thus, the ad posters also feature the expression.
It turned out that “burrraaaahh” has a meaning in India, and it is not just a mere expression. The ad campaign for the new burgers was first posted earlier this week. The TVC showed a group of friends and a duo of a father and son enjoying their meal at McDonald’s in India.
“Burrrraaaah is the way our North Indian guests express the feeling when they experience excitement, joy, and delight together,” McDonald’s India North and East chief operating officer, Rajeev Ranjan, said in a statement. “The brand’s new ad film captures the emotion experienced by guests while consuming the butter chicken and butter paneer grilled burgers.”
The new Butter Chicken and Butter Paneer Grilled Burgers were created to suit the palate of customers at McDonald’s India North and East. It was explained that the new food items’ flavor was inspired by the local Indian makhani cuisine, so they are sure to capture the taste of the North-Indian people.
Meanwhile, the two burgers will be available at all McDonald’s stores in North and East India. Customers can buy their food through McDelivery, dine-in, drive-thru, or to-go. They can also place delivery orders via Magic Pin, Zomato, and Swiggy.
“Fans of Punjabi food are instinctively going to fall in love with the new McDonald’s butter chicken & paneer grilled burgers,” McDonald’s North, DDB Mudra creative head, Iraj Fraz, said in a press release. “Through the film, we wanted to show the same happiness that we experienced while enjoying the new burger. You will definitely go ‘Burrraaahh!’ when you try it”,
