KEMP, Texas, April 28, 2018 -- Larson Electronics, a leading manufacturer of industrial lighting and equipment, has released a single-phase 2 horsepower variable frequency device with 220-240 volts AC input/output voltage compatibility and a 9.6-amp output current. This fan-cooled VFD is designed to improve AC moto performance in industrial applications and features fast torque rise, protection from resonance vibration and steady speed error.
The VFD-1P-220.240-2HP-9.6A-DCM is a single phase variable frequency device that provides industrial location operators with highly-accurate AC motor control for industrial machines, large compressors and more. This unit is compatible with single-phase 220-240V AC input and output voltage and provides a 9.6-amp output current with an operating frequency range of 0 to 3000 Hz. This 1.5 kW variable frequency device supports seven on-off programmable digital inputs, which include: one high-speed pulse input, two analog inputs, one open collector output, one analog output, two relay outputs and two analog outputs.
Also included with the VFD-1P-220.240-2HP-9.6A-DCM are four operating modes; Keypad Control, Terminal Control, Serial Communication Control and Frequency Setting Mode. The Frequency Setting Mode provides operators with control over digital, analog and pulse frequency settings, as well as serial communication, multi-step speed and simple PLC, PID settings. Designed for indoor applications only, this unit can withstand temperatures between -10°C to +40°C and is designed for surface mounting.
