SAN DIEGO, March 09, 2017 -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that its Unmanned Systems Division (USD) recently received a $5.6 million contract award from a U.S. Government Agency for High Performance Unmanned Aerial Target Drone Systems. Kratos is a leading provider of high performance jet powered unmanned aerial drone systems, vehicles and aircraft for tactical and weapon systems exercise. Under the contract award, the Unmanned Aerial Drone Systems will be produced in a secure Kratos manufacturing facility. Due to customer related and other considerations, no additional information will be provided related to this contract award.
