Toyota India has notified local authorities that a data breach at Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) may have exposed some customers' personal information on the internet.
TKM, a joint venture with Indian conglomerate Kirloskar Group, has been notified by one of its service providers about the incident.
TKM admitted the breach without disclosing the size of the data involved or number of customers affected.
