Kevco Builders Dominates 2017 Parade of Homes Sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Lake-Sumter

Eustis, Fla., March 01, 2017 --

Kevco Builders' Barcelona model received a Judges' Merit Award for the Master Spa/Bath in addition to being award Best in Class.

Lake County’s most award-winning custom home builder and remodeler, Kevco Builders, captured the most honors at the recent Home Builders Association of Lake-Sumter 2017 Parade of Homes.

 Among Kevco’s recognition are two “Best in Class” and three “Judges’ Merit Award” designations:

• “The Barcelona,” a 5,576 square foot Tuscan-style home won “Best in Class” in the $900,000+ Custom Home category. The four-bedroom, four-full bath house, located in the Loch Leven community in Mount Dora, includes a man cave with a “TV Wall,” infinity pool and a garage with a car lift. The master bathroom in “The Barcelona” also received the Judges’ Merit Award. The master spa/bath has copper features throughout including a claw foot tub and vessel sinks with pebble floor and a stacked stone wall.  One of the Parade judges noted, “The Barcelona” master bath encompasses the quality and detail of the entire home.”
• “The Southern Vintage,” a 5,278 square foot home located in the Reserve at Lake Seneca in Eustis, also received “Best in Class” honors in the $550-600,000 Custom Home category. The Vintage-style home features a metal roof, custom finishes throughout and a guest cottage with its own kitchen. The “Southern Vintage” guest cottage was also awarded a Judges’ Merit Award.
  
• Kevco received a Judges’ Merit Award for the kitchen in its “Waverly” entry, a three-time Parade winning model home. Located in the Hunter Oaks community in Umatilla, the “Waverly” was also a Runner-Up Best in Class Winner in the custom homes category under $200,000.
  
• A complete interior/exterior renovation of a Leesburg home located on Lake Eustis received the “Remodelers Showcase” Award.
