In fact, when Jamie Foxx appeared on Ellen DeGeneres Show and was grilled in the “Burning Questions” segment, he tried his best to sidestep any questions about love and dating.

Foxx avoided a question about his ex

During the segment, DeGeneres asked Foxx what his perfect date was. The query can easily carry on until his recent split from Katie Holmes could be brought up, but the actor still managed to dodged it by giving absurd answers since he already knows where the host was leading the discussion to.

“Oh, man. Reading scriptures,” the 52-year-old actor said as a reply. “Trying to get closer to the Lord. Hallelujah, Lord Jesus. Trying to be saved tonight. Will you save me, Lord Jesus?”

The naughty Ellen continued to press Foxx to reveal his relationship details when she asked, “Are you a member of the mile-high club?” and once again, the actor did not give the answer that the host was aiming to get. But later, the “Django Unchained” star finally gave in and said, “Yes, I am.”

Katie still in love with Jamie?

In any case, In Touch Weekly reported that Katie Holmes is still fond of her ex-boyfriend even if they have called it quits last year. But then, she knows that their relationship is done and she just wishes him well.

“Katie still has fond feelings for Jamie, but their relationship is over, they made a clean break,” the source told the magazine. “Katie truly wants the best for Jamie, she wishes him well.”

While Katie Holmes is still single and not dating anyone right now, Jamie Foxx has been linked to women since his split from the “Dawson’s Creek” star was reported. He was rumored to be in a relationship with Sela Vave, but he denied this by saying he was only trying to help her launch her career.

Foxx is also linked to model Dana Caprio, and she is the latest woman seen with the actor. The pair’s dating rumors first surfaced in November 2019, but it can’t be confirmed.
