JEFFERSONVILLE, N.Y., Nov. 15, 2017 -- Jeffersonville Bancorp, Inc. (OTCQB:JFBC) announced the appointment of Karen Fisher to serve on the Board of Directors of the Company and the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Jeff Bank, effective January 1, 2018.

Mrs. Fisher is the president and co-owner of FisherMears Associates, a high-end, boutique marketing communications firm in Liberty, NY. Karen co-founded the company in 1995 after 12 years as a copywriter and creative manager for Cablevision Industries. Mrs. Fisher attended Emerson College in Boston, MA and Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Media Arts.
Karen is currently the board chairperson of both the Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development and The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Town of Wallkill, Inc. serving Northern Orange and Sullivan counties. Karen, a 36-year resident of Sullivan County, lives in Kenoza Lake with her husband Michael.
