Jaxx, a multi-token multi-platform wallet from Decentral, is going to add Monero to its roster of cryptocurrencies.
Founder and CEO Anthony Di Iorio made the announcement via Twitter. Iorio said that he has received a call from Apple regarding the approval of Monero for AppStore.
The support for Monero (XMR) follows the integration of Ethereum Classic, Dash, Augur’s Reputation token (REP) and Litecoin to the wallet. Monero is currently the fifth most valued cryptocurrency with its market cap inching closer to $100 million.
The official website describes Monero as an open-source, secure, private and untraceable digital currency. According to reports, its popularity grew at a tremendous rate with its rising adoption in darknet marketplaces. However, it lost its darknet market integrations it had with Oasis that abruptly went offline, CoinTelegraph reported.
