Jaxx, a leading multi-platform software wallet by Decentral, has partnered with Ethereum-powered prediction market Augur and added support for Augur’s Reputation token (REP) on its platform.

Bitcoin.com reported that Jaxx will be one of the first cryptocurrency platforms to offer storage for REP tokens. Jaxx said that the addition of REP to the wallet platform will enable users to store REP in a secure environment giving the end user full control.

“Augur is a genius concept. We are extremely excited to be integrating REP because it’s been surging in growth since it entered beta and is now becoming a hot commodity. Augur has been building decentralized prediction market whereby people can earn cryptocurrency by simply guessing correct on future events, as well as contribute to an innovative forecasting tool and community”, CEO of Jaxx Anthony Di Iorio said, as quoted by Bitcoin.com.

Recently released, Augur’s REP token is currently the eight most valued cryptocurrency by market cap. Cryptocurrency exchanges Kraken, Poloniex and ShapeShift have also added support for REP tokens recently.

“We are thrilled to be launching our token,” Augur’s Director of Marketing Tony Sakich said. “It is something we’ve looked forward to since the very first days of the project. REP will be a huge hit on Jaxx; it’s my default wallet, and it’s incredibly versatile.”

Last month, Decentral revealed its plans to integrate Litecoin into its suite of software wallets on all of its desktop, mobile, and internet extension platforms. CEO Anthony di Iorio recently announced that Litecoin is live across 7 Jaxx platforms. Litecoin is also live on Jaxx iOS platform.

In addition, Apple has approved Ethereum Classic, meaning that iOS users can now store Ethereum Classic alongside other Jaxx-supported cryptocurrencies, such as bitcoin.
