NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J., April 17, 2017 -- JNESO, the union voice of healthcare workers representing 5,000 hospital and clinical workers, including nurses, LPNs and licensed technical employees, launched a public Campaign of Gratitude for nurses in advance of their annual Nurses Week celebration slated for May 6-12, 2017. The campaign website www.ThankYourNurse.Org encourages the public to join in creating a video compilation of thanks for the care given by a special nurse in their lives.
“We’ve been celebrating Nurses Week since 1958, and this year our Board of Directors determined to channel the great thanks we all feel for our nurses,” said JNESO executive director Doug Placa. “We’re putting together one big thank you video for the amazing nurses of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and we’re calling on the public to help.”
The campaign calls on people whose life has been meaningfully touched by a nurse to record a short video of thanks on their phone and send it to [email protected]. The final JNESO Campaign of Gratitude video will be aired extensively throughout Nurses Week.
