Fortnite Season 6 will be released on Thursday, Sept. 26. Expect the servers will go down at 9 a.m. BST, 4 a.m. Eastern Time, 1 a.m. Pacific Time.
This should not surprise fans as Fortnite announced via Twitter.
“Patch v6.00 is dropping in tomorrow, September 27! Downtime begins at 4 AM ET (0800 GMT),”the tweet reads.
As Fortnite Season 6 is about to arrive anytime today, several leaks appear to show a new skin and a big incoming feature for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, PC, Mac, and Android game. Some leaks show a brand new skin and an incoming Battle Royale feature, while the latest leak shows a new Wild West skin and it suggests the rumored pets feature for Fortnite Battle Royale is true. The latest leak was shown on a Fortnite Season 6 icon that reportedly went live on PlayStation Store.
The Wild West skin seems true as the Fortnite Intel revealed the Fortnite season 6 imagery showing the Wild West character riding on an inflatable pink llama. According to Express UK, the tweet from Fortnite Intel could be a confirmation that Battle Royale map is coming in Fortnite Season 6.
Of course, despite rumors circulating online, it is better to get the details from Fortnite, and it did not fail its fans as it released the final Season 6 teaser. In the video of the last Fortnite Season 6 trailer, it shows a new wolfskin alongside the cube imagery seen in another Fortnite season 6 teasers. The final teaser was first posted on the Fortnite official Twitter account.
Epic Games, Fortnite developer, has also shared a teaser image, which seems to be another skin that will be available on Fortnite Season 6. This teaser image shows the same cube and lightning imagery with a wolf character.
