Inaugural Sweepstakes Launches February with Cross-Platform Content Experience
One Lucky Winner’s Dream Kitchen to Become Reality
NEW YORK, Feb. 22, 2018 -- Food Network announced today the Food Network® Fantasy Kitchen™ Giveaway which will give one lucky fan a chance to win $250,000 toward the kitchen of their dreams. This first-ever sweepstakes which launches today will be accompanied by a multi-platform experience including content and promotion across Food Network’s linear, digital and print platforms, as well as across additional Scripps Networks Interactive channels.
Food Network brought together designer Shea McGee and chef and restaurateur Scott Conant to build the ultimate chef’s kitchen. The result is the Food Network Fantasy Kitchen – a forward-thinking, modern kitchen that is also warm and inviting with a design engineered to maximize culinary creativity, efficiency and enjoyment. The Fantasy Kitchen blends high-end conveniences such as a 60-inch range, double dishwashers, refrigerated drawers, custom built-in pizza oven, stove-top pot filler and wine fridge to name just a few, with rich textural elements such as tumbled painted brick, mixed metals, open shelving and a high-contrast palette. Fans will find inspiration in the extraordinary kitchen which spares no detail and will have home cooks everywhere dreaming up their own redesigned ultimate kitchen space where they can enjoy cooking, entertaining and time with friends and family.
“From our own test kitchen to Kitchen Stadium to the kitchens of so many beloved shows such as Saturday morning’s The Kitchen, Food Network is the ultimate resource to help bring one lucky viewer’s fantasy kitchen to life,” said Karen Grinthal, Senior Vice President of National Ad Sales for Food Network and Cooking Channel. “This sweepstakes is just one more way we can deliver the expertise and experience our fans have come to rely on and expect, while also offering partners a dynamic, multi-platform promotional opportunity.”
The cross-platform experience extends on-air inside segments on Food Network’s The Kitchen showcasing the Fantasy Kitchen and recipes and tips from Conant and McGee as well as online at FoodNetwork.com, which features a fully redesigned homepage, and across the brand’s social platforms including a tour of the Fantasy Kitchen, recipes, cooking tips and more. A Facebook Live event from the Food Network Fantasy Kitchen on February 26 with Conant will offer fans an opportunity for real-time interaction, and Food Network Magazine will feature the Fantasy Kitchen in the March issue.
