“Dr. Stone” season 2 is coming, and fans should be excited because this is not just mere speculation. This was already confirmed by TOHO Animation, and the announcement was made in December 2019.
This means that Senku and the villagers will be back with more inventions as they work together to bring back civilization and save the world in the process. Moreover, it was shared that “Dr. Stone” season 2 is set to present a new arc called the “Stone Wars,” and apparently, this is suggesting that a battle will finally break out.
Before this happens, it seems that Senku and his friends are ready to face their enemies as they have already gathered most of the things that they will need for the fight. Their team also has more scientific knowledge to use when needed, which means that they can have some advantage over their foes.
What will happen in the next story arc
The trailer for “Dr. Stone” season 2 is already out, and it showed Senku and his friends preparing to go to war with Tsukasa so they can be freed. Aside from getting ready to face Tsukasa, they are also working on reviving the people who were petrified. They want to “unfreeze” the statues and have everyone return to normal.
In “Dr. Stone” season 2, two of Senku’s friends would be revived, and they are Yuzuriha. It was suggested that together, they will work on Science to save mankind and make the world safe again. The teaser also showed Senku, Chrome, and Gen vowing to fight together until they defeated their enemies in the last battle.
Moreover, it was shown in the teaser that they will acquire new weapons, but it is not certain what kind of new armory they have. They will continue to search for answers regarding the petrification. The team is hoping to know who was the mastermind and why the civilization was attacked and turned into stone.
Release date
“Dr. Stone” season 2 is confirmed, but as of this time, its exact release date remained unknown. But then again, Game Revolution predicted that this anime would be coming back in July.
