GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., July 31, 2017 -- Michigan based media solutions company, Adtegrity, has announced that it has acquired fellow Grand Rapids staple, Media Place Partners, marrying the acquired company’s deep traditional media buying expertise and relationships with its own veteran digital media business. The result will be the Midwest region’s largest completely independent media planning and buying platform, providing scalable inventory-agnostic one-stop shopping, coordinated across both traditional and digital executions.
Adtegrity CEO, Scott Brew, explained,” We could not be more excited to bring the Media Place Partners team onboard to help us execute on our vision to deliver the kind of cross-medium strategies that will allow mid-market advertisers to focus on their audiences at the most personal and local levels, and to then scale those strategies seamlessly to achieve their most macro-level goals. We truly believe that is the future of a unified media landscape.”
Adtegrity’s newly minted Chief Revenue Officer, Jonathan Slavin, added, “As one of the earliest players in the modern digital media space, Adtegrity has been helping mid-market brands and agencies target local and micro-audiences across digital media platforms for almost two decades. In addition to allowing the company to offer clients an expanded diet of traditional media options, partnering with Media Place Partners, through this acquisition, will position the company to package a complete multimedia offering and to begin to duplicate its success in new verticals and markets.”
Media Place Partners Chief Operating Officer and co-founder, David Kettler said, “Media Place Partners and Adtegrity are joining to provide the kind of unified media services not offered by anyone else in the region. We are thrilled to be able to both add our relationships and expertise to benefit Adtegrity’s current clients and to be able to provide an entirely new level of digital execution and access, where needed, to our own clients.”
Media Place Partners continues to operate under its own brand post acquisition. Clients of the venerable Grand Rapids company can expect no change in the company’s ability to service current campaigns and strategies - only the addition of wider digital media capabilities, along with optimized execution efficiencies.
Benefits to clients of both companies include consolidation of planning, reporting and communication resources, the leveraging of collective ad spends across mediums and development of even more integrated and holistic cross-platform advertising strategies.
