‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ chapter 200: Giant baby form disintegrates exposing Tanjiro and Muzan

Fans believe that “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 200 will finally confirm Muzan’s death. With the sun already starting to disintegrate his giant baby form, his real body will be revealed next chapter, along with Tanjiro's.

‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ chapter 199 recap

The most recent chapter of the hit manga series, which is available for online reading on MangaPlus, starts with the arrival of dawn. Seeing the sun slowly rising out of the mountains, Muzan becomes visibly panicked, releasing another shockwave attack that blows away Obanai and Sanemi.

Tanjiro, on the other hand, manages to cling to his sword which is stuck in the demon’s mouth. However, he loses his left arm due to the attack.

Clinging to the blade with only his right arm, Tanjiro tries but fails to turn it red. Thankfully, Giyu assists Tanjiro and holds the blade as well. The two manage to finally activate Nichirin resulting in Muzan coughing up some blood.

Just as previous “Kimetsu no Yaiba” manga spoilers had predicted, Muzan uses another transformation to deal with the situation. His flesh grows outward and into a giant baby as the demon plans to use the added layers of flesh as his shield against the sun. Unfortunately, Tanjiro is not fast enough to escape the flesh growing out of Muzan so he ended up somewhere inside the giant baby’s body.

The giant baby starts to crawl in search of shade to hide from sunlight. However, various members of the Demon Slayer Corps throw everything that could get their hands on to bar the baby’s path, such as bookshelves, cars and a bus.

Muzan tries to climb over the bus but Sanemi slices off the giant baby’s right hand with Wind Breathing: Ninth Form - Idaten Typhoon. The baby tries to climb over the obstacle once more but Gyomei Himejima puts a chain around its neck and pulls the baby back.

They notice that the Muzan’s baby form tries to dig a hole into the ground, probably as a way to escape via underground. However, everyone unleashes various attacks that prevented the demon from successfully carrying out its plan.

The “Demon Slayer” chapter ended with the giant baby finally exposed to sunlight. It starts to disintegrate until half of its body remains.

‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ chapter 200 predictions

The disintegration of Muzan’s giant baby form will continue in “Demon Slayer” chapter 200. Tanjiro, who was buried beneath all those layers of flesh, will finally be able to escape.

This will also mean that Muzan’s real body will be exposed as well in “Kimetsu no Yaiba” 200. Fans have been predicting that the demon’s demise will be happening in this chapter, either as a result of sunlight or because of Tanjiro’s attack.
