“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” is the newest first-person shooter game that is set to be released by Activision's Infinity Ward team. It should be noted that this upcoming gameplay is different from “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4” that was launched in 2018 because this has a single-player option in addition to the multiplayer game modes.
Now, on July 29, it was revealed on social media that the developers of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” had revived the “Killstreaks” function that allows players to ride a tank and fight. This will reward gamers is they will accumulate several kills in a row.
How the Killstreak works
It was explained that this works when a player kills three of his opponents, he or she can call for a drone to scan the map and determine the location points of the enemies. The reward will be given there if the player can annihilate his rivals in the “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” game. More rewards are given to those who can target and strike at least 25 opponents during gameplay.
Gunsmithing feature
Aside from the ‘Killstreak’ Activision also recently announced that they had added the gunsmithing system to the “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” game. This feature will enable gamers to choose their guns and other weapons when in multiplayer mode. Having the best and right weapons play an important part in winning, so this is a good addition overall.
“Gunsmithing is a robust weapon customization option for your two main Loadout weapons: Each Primary and Secondary Weapon can be augmented to give you the precise type and style of firepower you require for any type of multiplayer game mode,” David Hodgson, Activision’s editor wrote in the company’s blog. “You can customize up to five parts of each weapon until your available slots are filled.”
“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” will be out in the market on October 25. The game will be available for most gaming platforms available today such as Windows PC, PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Microsoft's Xbox One consoles. Meanwhile, the multiplayer premiere of the “Modern Warfare” has been set for Aug. 1.
A new generation of Call of Duty multiplayer is coming.
