Salt Lake City, Aug. 11, 2017 -- CHG Healthcare, the nation's largest privately held healthcare staffing company, officially opened its new headquarters in Midvale, Utah. The 282,000-square-foot campus — centrally located at the View 72 development, just off I-15 and 7200 South — is LEED certified and consists of two five-story buildings, connected by a glass “People Hub” that includes lounge areas, gathering and meeting spaces, and dining areas.
Founded in Utah in 1979, CHG employs more than 2,500 people nationwide with 1,400 of its employees in Salt Lake City. The company is known for its award-winning culture that focuses on putting people first.
Together with partners Gardner Company, Okland Construction, MHTN Architects, and CCG & Haworth, CHG created a headquarters that visually represents the company’s core values and culture and is tailored to its employees’ needs.

“We teamed up with some of the most talented people in the valley to create a space that enhances our culture and our people’s experience at work,” says Scott Beck, CEO of CHG Healthcare. “We’re providing our people with the amenities they deserve, and also have space to accommodate our future growth.”
CHG’s commitment to putting people first is prevalent throughout its new headquarters. From its onsite amenities to abundance of natural light, CHG has created a space that feels more like a home than an office.
“Listening is an important part of our culture,” shares Beck. “Before building our new headquarters, we asked our people to weigh in on what was most important to them. I’m so proud of our new space because it’s filled with the amenities that matter most to our people.”
Here are a few of the building’s people-centric features:
- Onsite amenities: Free health clinic, free gym and fitness classes, a kitchen that offers high-quality, healthy food options, and a coffee and smoothie bar
- Natural light throughout the building: Common areas and cubicles located next to the windows and a new tiered ceiling technique that minimizes employees’ exposure to direct artificial light
- Space for fun: Fun room with ping-pong tables, arcade games, pool table, and shuffleboard along with an outdoor space that includes a sports court, amphitheater, and a variety of outdoor seating options, giving employees a place to spend time with coworkers or the flexibility to work wherever they’d like
