BURLINGTON, Mass., April 05, 2016 -- Bridgeline Digital, Inc. (NASDAQ:BLIN), today announced that New York-based ESL Federal Credit Union has received three industry awards for its website ESL.org built on the iAPPS Digital Engagement Platform.
The Web Marketing Association recognized the website with two Standard of Excellence Awards in both the Credit Union and Financial Services categories. Those followed a Best-In-Class award in Financial Services from the Interactive Media Council.
“Providing a superior member experience is key to our brand,” said Joseph Buscaglia, Senior Vice President /Director, Systems & Technology, at ESL Federal Credit Union. “It was more than a decade since we upgraded our previous website. So when we decided it was time to overhaul it, we did so by keeping our customers’ needs completely in mind. The site delivers a far more superior online experience than before and it provides customers with convenient access to their accounts so that they can bank when they want.”
The site sets an example in the Credit Union space, focused on delivering a seamless experience for both desktop and mobile phone users and providing strong segmentation for their various user groups. The results backup the enhanced strategy – ESL.org enjoyed a 139% increase in mobile traffic and a 15% increase in overall web traffic just one month after its re-launch.
“ESL is a fantastic partner for us – setting an example on how to use iAPPS to its fullest,” Ari Kahn, COO at Bridgeline Digital said. “Their constant innovation represents exactly what the Credit Union industry needs. We’re excited iAPPS was a part in that.”
