Brad Pitt is said to be retiring, and he came up with the decision because he fears that Hollywood is already sick of him. It was suggested that the actor wants to exit the business while he still has some followers and thinks that this is the best time to leave.

Brad’s retirement?

The National Enquirer that Jennifer Aniston’s first ex-husband is afraid to stay longer because they may drop him without warning. It would certainly be devastating on his part, so he opted to just retire now.

“Brad is a big believer in leaving the party before it ends,” a tipster supposedly told the tabloid. “He is shy and hates the spotlight. It’s time to retire, to take a long break before he gets overexposed.”

It was added that Brad really loves his profession, but he truly dislikes being a celebrity and everything else that is involved with it. The source said that people could expect the actor to slowly disappear until he is fully out of the picture. “Expect to see less and less of Brad as he disappears in the shadows,” the source added.

The truth

Gossip Cop reiterates that it is not true that Pitt is retiring from the business this soon. The fact-checking site noted that these rumors might have stemmed from the actor’s previous interview, where he discussed working on just a few projects.

“It’ll be fewer and farther in between for me, just because I have other things I want to do now,” he told The New York Times. “When you feel like you’ve finally got your arms around something, then it’s time to go get your arms around something else.”

Gossip Cop also talked with Brad Pitt’s camp and was told that everything written in the article is false. They explained that it is just natural for the actor to have downtime at the moment since he just finished two movies - “Ad Astra” and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.” They also assured that the actor would be back with more movies and in fact, he is being considered for the lead drama role in “Babylon.”
