BTS V get real and addressed the problem with sasaeng fans via his recent streaming broadcast. The idol singer admitted that they are scared of these types of fans and he wants them to stop stalking them.

On Dec. 15, BTS V met up with his fans through V LIVE and discussed many things like his upcoming new songs and activities. Near the end of his streaming, he brought up the thing about sasaeng fans. He hesitated for a few seconds, probably trying to think of how to say it without offending the ARMYs.

Kim Taehyung ask sasaeng fans to give them space

The 23-year-old explained that while he and the rest of the BTS appreciate their fans very much, there are groups who go overboard and do things that are very uncomfortable for them. He mentioned some instances when they have to ride an airplane for their overseas works and said that there are fans who find out their flight schedules and ride the plane with them.

BTS V said that these fans sit beside or in front of them and it really makes them very uncomfortable. He went on to say that while the fans may only want to see them up close, they can’t relax and traveling comfortably is impossible because they are also scared.

“I should say this on our team’s behalf,” Kim Taehyung said. “You know how we get on planes by ourselves? We fly on a charter flight but we also want to fly on regular planes too but there are people who check out our boarding details and they sit next to us. It’s scary.”

BTS V’s sincere request from fans

The idol singer went on to ask sasaeng fans to stop doing these kinds of things. He said that all of the BTS members do not want them to do that and it is really frightening for them too.

Meanwhile, BTS V is celebrating 24th birthday soon and his fans are doing their best to prepare the grandest gifts that they could manage. His birthday is on Dec. 30 and so far fans have already announced many amazing events for their idol and this includes renting out LED billboards around Asia and even in the U.S. where his photos and birthday greeting would be featured.
