NEW YORK, Jan. 10, 2017 -- Dr. Lynda Tran has been selected to join the Dentistry Board at the American Health Council. She will be sharing her knowledge and expertise on general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry, sports dentistry and oral conscious sedation.

With over six years in the field, Dr. Tran excels in her role as a dentist and business owner of Kai Family Dentistry.
Dr. Tran’s interest in the field of dentistry spawned from her desire to make a difference in the lives of patients in the community. Dr. Tran’s day-to-day responsibilities consist of caring for families and individuals, promoting dental health and knowledge in the community, administrative duties, and assisting in volunteer events.
Throughout the course of her education, Dr. Tran earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of San Francisco School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis.
Due to her dedication to excellence in the field of dentistry, Dr. Tran received the Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentists. She attributes her success to working with a team of great professionals, her strong work ethic and support from family and friends.
Dr. Tran maintains affiliations with the following organizations: Academy of General Dentists, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Academy of Sports Dentistry, Omicron Kappa Upsilon (A National Dental Honor Society), and the Spear Study Club. She volunteers with One Percent for the Planet, Save Our Shores, and Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), where she works with abused and neglected children.
Looking ahead, Dr. Tran has developed a real passion for sustainable and environmentally-friendly dentistry. She believes it is important to take care of the environment while taking care of patients.
In her free time, Dr. Tran enjoys trail running, discovering new hiking trails, surfing, travelling, and spending time with her friends and family including her loving dog.
