ONTARIO, Calif., April 18, 2017 -- The parent company of Auto-Graphics, Inc., Agent Information Software (AIFS) is publishing the 2016 audited earnings for Auto-Graphics, Inc., an Industry-leading library management software provider and the first to provide Web-based library resource management solutions to library consortia.
By publishing the audited financial information, AIFS delivers to its stakeholders and Auto-Graphics’ customers the solid results of the last fiscal year. Net income for the year ending December 31, 2016 was $204,069, up $13,011 from the previous year’s net income, with reported net sales of $4,757,198, slightly higher than 2015. These results were in line with sales forecasts, as how the overall number of RFPs received was down in 2016, with many libraries reporting that they were unwilling to move forward on issuing RFPs due to uncertainty over the economy, election, and federal budgets.
In 2016, Auto-Graphics made several major enhancements and delivered major new releases to both the VERSO and SHAREit customer bases, all intended to address customer needs and deliver value. These investments included updating VERSO front-end for mobile-devices, in addition to many staff and patron product enhancements. Sales opportunities for MONATGEdc, a modern, simple to use, SaaS-based digital content manager for digital collections released to the market in 2015, have been encouraging and SHAREit continued to see growth for the company in 2016 with the addition of a major state contract which will be installed in early 2017. Auto-Graphics will continue to focus on new products and functionality to meet market needs throughout 2017.
