Apple has yet to break their silence about the iOS 13 as they’re set to unveil the much-anticipated update this coming June. But while there is no confirmation from the Cupertino-based company, the web is rife with rumors what features will be included in the upcoming update.
The latest of this is the supposed new gesture that would allow users to undo and redo actions with ease. According to 9to5mac, the new iOS 13 gesture involves sliding three fingers on the keyboard area from left to right and vice versa to achieve the desired result.
For those who may be confused, there’s no cause for concern as the iOS 13 update will provide a tutorial for this new feature. Other improvements for the iOS 13 is the inclusion of Dark Mode. This feature is arguably the most anticipated upgrade by iOS users, with the majority requesting its inclusion for quite a while.
One of the benefits of Dark Mode is that it can reduce battery consumption of the device by limiting active pixels on the blackened area of the screen. What’s more, it also reduces eye strain for users when using a device in a darkened room. The iOS 13 will also be addressing a minor yet annoying issue that’s been put forward by users.
The said issue is none other than the vexing volume HUD. The iOS 13 will supposedly have options to get rid of the display when it pops up when adjusting the device’s volume. There will be a new home screen for users as well, a welcome improvement since the current one is quite ancient at this point. Hopefully, the home screen will finally have widget support and allow users to rearrange apps however they want.
The iOS 13 will be released in June although Apple will keep providing fixes for unforeseen issues in the succeeding months. And on September, the final version of the software will be rolled out.
