Keven Joyal-Desmarais is a postdoctoral researcher at the Montreal Behavioural Medicine Centre and at Concordia University. Trained in social psychology at the University of Minnesota, their work focuses on how to promote healthier behaviours in society (e.g., better diets, higher rates of altruism), with a focus on how communication campaigns can benefit from a better understanding of people's psychological needs and motivations.
