Andy is Public Health lecturer and researcher whose focus is on the patterns of alcohol use and health outcomes in older adults. With colleagues at the Centre for Addiction Research (University of Auckland) he currently leads a collaboration of experts in older adults drinking from US, Europe and the World Health Organisation in a three-year study funded by the New Zealand Health Promotion Agency which explores patterns, predictors and outcomes of drinking in older adults.
