Barbara Fielding is a Senior Lecturer in Nutritional Sciences at The University of Surrey where she is Programme Director for the MSc in Nutritional Medicine.
Her studies are centred on the metabolic fate of food, including sugars, starch and lipids, which help to inform dietary recommendations. She was awarded the Cuthbertson Medal by The Nutrition Society in 2010 for her work in tracing dietary fatty acids.
Barbara is a Registered Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition.
