Michael Breen is a McKenzie Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Melbourne. Michael's research focuses on federalism, electoral systems and deliberative democracy in Asia. Michael completed his PhD at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, worked at Deakin University and held an Endeavour Awards Research Fellowship. His background is in native title, political inclusion, constitution-making and environmental politics. He is the author of 'The Road to Federalism in Nepal, Myanmar and Sri Lanka: Finding the Middle Ground (Routledge, 2018).
