Craig Bailie resides on South Africa’s West Coast where he engages in efforts at transforming hearts and minds. He is based in the School for Security and Africa Studies in the Stellenbosch University Faculty of Military Science. He lectures International Relations, Civil-Military Relations and African Political Thought. His current research interests include democratisation, civil-military relations, political leadership, civic education and political theology. Craig holds an MA (International Studies) from Rhodes University and is a graduate of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Center, Southern Africa.
